Bicycle brake system

The invention relates to a fixed mount single acting caliper mounted on a bicycle frame in a position to straddle a flexible brake disk. A brake actuator piston is provided on the movable brake pad side of the brake disk in alignment with the outer periphery of the brake disk whereby the flexible brake disk is flexed into engagement with the fixed brake pad upon actuation of the brake actuator piston.
