Bump stop device

The device has an annular part (20) with a portion retained on an upper cover (18) and another portion retained on a bottom unit (12). The part has a watertight lip (20d) distinct from the retained portions. A suspension spring (11) has an upper end supported on the unit (12) supporting a thrust bearing (9). The bearing has an upper and lower ring (13, 14) in contact with the upper cover and the bottom unit, respectively.
