Drive system for the harvesting attachment of a harvesting machine

A length variable cardan shaft (86) has a universal joint (88) at one end coupled to the drive motor of a harvesting machine (10) via shaft of one drive component, and a universal joint (94) at another end coupled to the drive shaft (78) of an output component linked to a harvesting attachment (42). The cardan shaft facilitates harvesting setting of the attachment. Independent claims are included for the following: (a) a harvesting attachment; (b) and a harvesting machine.
