Rigid and sealed luggage article for installation on a vehicle roof

The luggage case (1) is designed to slide transversely and lock in place on the vehicle roof (2) by means of a system of rollers (3) or sliders on transverse rails and slideways (4) for the rollers to run in. The rollers and rails can be mounted on the roof and the slideways located in the wall of the case, or vice versa, and a locking mechanism fixes the case in position. A variant of the design can have two smaller cases fitted on either side of a centre line.
