Image display system for displaying different images on separate display devices

The present invention relates to an image display input system, in particular for use in a vehicle information and entertainment system, for displaying at least two different images on separate display devices. A single image display input signal contains a sequence of images wherein an image display signal generator splits the single image display input signal into at least two image display signals in temporal or spatial respect. The use of a single image display input signal enables a reduction of the required hardware effort for generating more than one image display signal.
