Method and system for parameterization of bus components

Method for parameterizing slave units (A1-An, BL1, BL2, S1, S2) of a master-slave bus system (1) that communicate with a master unit (M). The slave units are programmed with individual parameters by the master unit in a parameterizing step which forms part of the data protocol of the bus system and is carried out for each bus component, once, repeatedly or cyclically, dependent on the system configuration. An Independent claim is made for a system for parameterizing bus components, especially slave units of a master-slave bus system.
