Outer mirrors

A mirror base (10) in which an antenna unit (13) is installed, is attached to the side of a motor vehicle, so as to extend outwardly from the side of the vehicle. A mirror housing (20) is suspended underneath the base. The base has a fixing unit which fixes the antenna unit, such that, the fixing angle is adjustable. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) motor vehicle with pair of outer mirrors; (2) surrounding-area monitoring device with outer mirror; and (3) automatic anti-glare outer mirror.
