Method of controlling an automatically actuated clutch

The control system has a memory holding a model of clutch torque transmission (M) plotted against position of the clutch withdrawal mechanism (pos). Two extreme values, (Maximal-KL) and (Minimal-KL1) are given, rising from zero torque at the clutch touch point to maximum transmitted torque with the clutch locked up. An intermediate curve, (interpolierte KL) is calculated from the two extreme values.
