Method for continuous measurement of dynamic fluid consumption

The pressure behind the Coriolis mass flow sensor (7) is maintained at a constant value using a pressure regulator (9) which is adjusted based on measurements from output and input pressure sensors (10,11). The fluid flow is divided into two parts before reaching the sensor: the first flows through the sensor and the second does not. The volume of fluid flowing through the sensor is controlled by the regulator to maintain the desired pressure. An Independent claim is included for a device for measuring fluid consumption.
