Vehicle roof with a sliding roof

A frame (1) has two longitudinal frame parts (LFP) (2) that border the longitudinal edges of a motor vehicle's roof opening. In a center area of a vehicle's roof between the two LFP there is a lateral strut (5) supported on the inner sides of the two LFP where it is fastened. The two LFP have a flange (8) pointing outwards.
