Engine torque control method and system for an automotive vehicle

The method involves receiving a request for controlling a speed of a propeller motor (1). A transmission ratio is calculated between a current speed of the motor and a speed of wheel (5) according to the request. A representative variable is calculated based on the ratio. A motor torque is controlled, according to the variable, for controlling the speed of a motor. An Independent claim is also included for a system for controlling a propeller motor of a vehicle.
