Intake silencer for gas turbines

The silencer (25) has a venturi tube arranged parallel to the flow direction of the intake airstream (10) for supplying water and/or steam into the intake air through the nozzles in the venturi tube. An Independent claim is also included for control method for power output of gas turbine.
