The air decompression device (1) for balancing the pressure between the interior volume and the ambient environment during the opening of a door comprises a rigid body (2) delimiting an air passage opening (3) and a sealing flap (4) articulated to the body. The flap is returned under its own weight into a rest position where it seals the opening by being applied against the opening edges (5).
