Foldable safety bench

The bench seat for a motor vehicle also forms a screen movable between a use position in which the seat (2) is deployed and a non-use position in which the screen is advanced. The seat can be mounted on a rigid frame (3) with uprights (3A) and the upper end movable parallel to the vehicle longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The screen in the use position is locked on frames (4,5) extending transversely and anchored to the vehicle.
