Holder for a beverage container

A holder (1) for a drinks container (2) comprises a receiver (3) and clamping element (12) with a sprung displaceable grip (7). Each grip has at least two vertically placed clamping points (14,15) and is held by a spring (9) so that the grip and spring form a horizontally tilting clamp.
