"textContent": "Method for diagnosis of the correct operation of a motor vehicle exhaust catalytic converter, whereby the vehicle engine is switched from lean to rich operation. When a preset start value is reached for a first lambda probe (4) a time measurement is triggered. When a second lambda probe reaches a preset stop value, the time measurement is stopped. The time difference is then compared with a reference time value and the result output for determining whether the catalytic converter is operating correctly. An Independent claim is made for a catalytic converter assembly with two lambda probes and means for checking catalytic converter operation. The invention also relates to a corresponding combustion engine and motor vehicle equipped with such a combustion engine and catalytic converter.",
