Component assembly and method for connecting components

Component assembly comprising a first component (12) having a first connection face (16) with a first connection profile (18) and a second component (14) having a second connection face (20) with a second connection profile (22). According to an important aspect of the invention, the first and second connection profiles (18, 22) are designed so as to form a chamber (24, 50) between the first and second connection faces (16, 20) when the connection faces (16, 20) are in contact with each other. Setting material is arranged in the chamber (24, 50), the setting material being able to set into a solid element within the chamber (24, 50).
