Steering column stalk switch

The switch has a switch unit with a pivotably mounted switch lever coupled to switching members (18,34) having contacts that make contact with contacts (40,42) of a flat conductive track carrier (20). The ends of the contact elements (50) facing the switch lever make contact with contact points (48), perpendicular to the conductive track carrier, below the pivot axis extending parallel to the conductive track carrier.
