A measuring torque is increased until a desired clutch target torque is reached. A creeping torque is adapted from a controlling torque characteristic curve as an additional point. A clutch torque corresponding to the point of engagement is adapted by means of a time function. A lower and/or upper limiting value is used for a clutch target torque to be adjusted. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) A method for carrying out a measuring point of adaptation on an automatic gearbox clutch; (b) and for a method for carrying out adaptation of a clutch's point of engagement when a creeping function is activated on an automatic gearbox clutch; (c) and for a method for triggering electronic clutch management; (d) and for a method for measuring engine and clutch torque in a partly automatic gearbox; (e) and for a method for monitoring engine torque and speed; (f) and for a method for triggering an automatic gearbox clutch; (g) and for a method for carrying out torque adaptation in a partly automatic gearbox.
