A method and apparatus for controlling engine crankscase breathing

A method and valve assembly for controlling the flow of gases through a passage (28, 60, 62, 64) between an engine crankcase (54) and an engine intake manifold (24) is disclosed. The method includes decreasing the flow of gas through the passage (28, 60, 62, 64) between the crankcase (54) and the intake manifold (24) when the temperature of the gas is greater than a predetermined temperature.
