Brake actuator

An operating lever (10) has a hand lever (11) and a carrier element (12) that maintains a link with a transmission device (15). The hand lever can be moved when the carrier element is in a braking or a release position. If the carrier element is in a braking position, the hand lever can moved into a release position as a functional operation.
