Gyro-compass with electromagnetic energy transmission by half-shell transformer and with optoelectronic data signal transmission

The compass has a transformer (14,16) with a winding on the primary element which is connected via an H bridge circuit (12) to a controllable input voltage source (10). The transformer also has at least one secondary winding on the other transformer core. The secondary winding has several tap points for voltage supply for the heating, for the circuitry which controls the internal voltage supply, for the compass ball motor supply etc.
