Tilt sensor and the use thereof

The inclination sensor includes a magneto-resistive sensor element (22,23) for transmitting signals. The sensor element is provided in a plane (24,25) and exposed to the earth's magnetic field (BE). Inclination or a timely change of the inclination of the plane relative to the direction of the earth's magnetic field is determined. An Independent claim is included for the use of an inclination sensor.
