Gas and steam power plant for desalination of water

Source
A gas-fired seawater desalination assembly pre-heats incoming cold seawater at a heat-exchanger (31) which is located at the cold end of a waste heat boiler (9). The cold end of the waste heat boiler pre-heats incoming sea water (35) with effluent heat from the burned effluent (7) gas. In the direction of gas (7) flow the heat exchanger (31) is the last heat exchange interface in the waste heat boiler. The hot gases make contact with the heat exchanger at a temperature of 120-150 degrees C and leave at a temperature of 80 degrees C.
