Load securing device

The device for the securing of loads on a transporting surface (1) has two guide elements installed on the transporting surface on its open side. A blocking element (4) in the form of a safety net or material web is fitted on the guide elements with vertical movement capability. The blocking element can be fastened to the guide elements in a freely optional position by known means or is fixed by its own weight and so defines the loading opening of the transporting surface.
