The battery (1) has a positive terminal (7) fixed to the upper part (8) and electrodes (3) immersed in an electrolyte (5). A small indicating conductor (9) is also immersed in the electrolyte and has connections (10a,10b) which enable it to form a series circuit with the positive terminal, a switch, a limiting resistor, an indicating diode and the negative terminal.
