In a rocket motor the bag is used to fill the central channel between the igniter (12) and outlet nozzle (13), isolating the solid propergol from the outside atmosphere, while in a munition it is inserted between the explosive charge and nose of the warhead. The bag can be inflated manually or automatically in response to an event.",
