A transmitting unit transmits torque from input shaft (205) to output shaft (301), before and after gear change in the vehicle. When output shaft torque after gear change, is below target output shaft torque based on accelerator pedal position, the engine torque is controlled by a throttle (103), such that output torque coincides with target torque.
