Magnetic position sensor
DRIVE
April 14, 2004
The magnetic field produced by a first magnet (16) in a first position has no effective influence on a magnetic field sensor (17). A second magnet (18) has a different magnetic field and is arranged directly near to the magnetic field sensor when the first magnet is in its first position. The second magnet applies a defined magnetic field on the sensor which is sufficiently superimposed on external interference fields.
