Wheel suspension for a motor vehicle
DRIVE
April 7, 2004
The arrangement has a wheel carrier (8), at least one lower guide rod (1), a spring leg (3) with a cylinder (3a) and a piston rod (3c) and at least one upper guide rod (5). The spring leg is joined to the upper and lower guide rods by the cylinder and to the vehicle's structure by the piston. First and second joints (2,6) lie on an axis about which they allow a rotation and that forms the steering rotation axis (L) of the wheel suspension.
