Engine fuel injection apparatus

The apparatus has an air chamber (35) on an upstream end of an air intake passage (101) of an engine. A fuel injection valve (103) for injecting fuel towards the upstream end is provided on an upper wall (141). The fuel injection valve is for high-speed operation and another valve is provided for low-speed operation. The air chamber also serves as an air cleaner case having a filter unit.
