The machine has at least two electric drives (4,5), at least one electric controller (12) and at least one electric voltage supply (1). When braking at least one of the electric drives the excess electrical energy is fed to at least one other electric drive. The electric drive to be braked interacts with an electrical storage device, especially a large capacity capacitor for accommodating the braking energy.
