The anti-theft device has an unlock signal receiver and a controller judging if ID included in the unlocking signal is coincident with the ID registered beforehand to start an engine. A detector that outputs an insertion detection signal to the controller for the starting of the engine is provided inside a remote control holder (24). The remote control has a cutout that fits into a fitting part of the holder.
