Tire pressure controlling system for the wheels of a motor vehicle

DRIVE March 31, 2004
Source
The tire pressure control system comprises a control part (17), a pressure sensor (12) per wheel associated with a transmitter (13) which transmits a radio signal comprising the sensor's identification data to the control part. There are determination means (178) of the phase difference between two radio signals transmitted at two separate times by the wheel. There are determination means of the rotational angle traveled by each of the wheels between the two times, and comparison means (179) between the phase differences and the rotational angles.
