Assembly of gas generator and generator holder

The gas generator (12) and generator support (14) assembly has a cylindrical circumferential wall (15) in which are provided clamping protrusions (24) formed by lateral deformation in sections. The clamping protrusions are each bounded by at least one slot (22) extending in the circumferential direction (U), whereby the side of each clamping protrusion defined by the slot forms a stop for a flange (30) fastened to the gas generator support.
