COMPRESSION RATIO VARIABLE DEVICE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
DRIVE
March 31, 2004
A compression ratio variable device of an internal combustion engine, comprising a piston inner part (5a), a piston outer part (5b) movable between a low compression ratio position (L) and a high compression ratio position (H) in engagement with the outer periphery of the piston inner part slidably only in the axial direction, a raising member (14) rotatable around the axes of the piston inner and outer parts between a non-raised position (A) and a raised position (B), and an actuator (20) connected to the raising member and rotating the raising member to the non-raised position and the raised position.
