A radial tire, wherein a ratio W2/W1 between a belt layer width W1 on the carcass side of a small-inclination belt layer provided over 0.25-0.50 times the tread width in a tire width direction and the remaining belt layer width W2 is set to range from 1.1 to 1.3.
