The climate-control system has a climatization device (24,26,28,30), an associated control device (14) and a sensor device (16,20) providing a sensor output relating the climatic conditions in the vicinity of the vehicle for controlling the climatization device. The sensor device has at least one windscreen coating sensor providing a sensor output signal for the control device.
