Battery with a mecanical tensible connection

The battery has a wound electrode element (28) and a pin (25) for contacting the electrode, in a housing (24). A contact terminal (21) is attached on the outside of the housing and this is in electrical contact with the pin in the housing. A connector which can be mechanically tightened is provided between the contact terminal and the pin.
