At least one compartment (12, 13), which is to be filled with a fluid, is positioned between the tarpaulin (10) and the goods (7), the volume of which compartment (12, 13) can be increased by filling it with fluid for tensioning the tarpaulin (10) that is secured to the loading platform (3). This makes it possible to use a lighter overall mechanical construction for the loading platform (3), with a tilt, among other things, no longer being needed for keeping the goods (7) together on the loading platform (3), as a result of which the overall weight of the means of transport can be reduced considerably, thus making it possible to transport a larger weight of goods (7) within the prevailing traffic regulations.",
