Refrigerant hose

A hose (10,10',10") suitable for use in refrigerant systems. The hose (10,10',10") has a barrier layer (14) formed of at least two layers of thermoplastic resin. At least one of the layers is a vinyl resin. The resins are selected so that the hose has a permeation rate of not greater than 0,0003 g/cm/day.
