The film is a melt-adhesive applied at a rate of 20 to 50 g/m2 and evens out any unevenness on the underside of the fabric to give a smooth surface. An Independent claim is also included for the process of treating fabric by applying an adhesive to one side of the fabric, especially a melt adhesive in powder form, activating the adhesive, e.g. by heat and pressure, and winding up the fabric in a roll.",
