A bearing apparatus for a bicycle hub (10) comprises a bearing member (32, 132) and a lock member (15, 115). The bearing member (32, 132) comprises an inner peripheral surface (32a) for receiving a hub spindle (10) therein, a bearing surface (32d) for engaging a bearing (13), and an interlock portion (32b, 132b). The first lock member (15, 115) comprises an inner peripheral surface (15b) for receiving the hub spindle (10) therein and a mating portion (15d, 115d) for engaging the interlock portion (32b, 132b) of the bearing member (32, 132) so that the bearing member (32, 132) is nonrotatably fixed relative to the first lock member (15, 115).
