A bicycle hub (1, 108) comprises a hub shaft (10) structured to be rotatably mounted to a bicycle frame (102), a hub shell (11, 111) rotatably supported relative to the hub (10) shaft, and a brake force control mechanism (15) housed by the hub shell (11, 111). The brake force control mechanism includes a brake force adjusting mechanism that can be accessed for adjustment while the brake force control mechanism (15) is housed within the hub shell (11, 111).
