A first seat rail (3) has a stop plate (15) with first stop surfaces that work together with second stop surfaces on a clawing part (8) in order to limit movement in first (3) and second (4) seat rails. Stop surfaces fit in a rail crosswise direction offset to fastening points (13) on the stop plate.
