Intake duct system

Intake channel system for motor vehicle internal combustion engines comprises a channel element (10) forming at least one part of at least one intake channel (16), a pivoting flap arranged within the intake channel, a pivoting shaft (22) connected to the flap, and a bearing element (30, 32) supported by the channel element and receiving the pivoting shaft. The channel element has on an inner side (36) a pocket (38) into which the flap pivots. An independent claim is also included for an alternative intake channel system. Preferred Features: The pivoting shaft is offset from the flap. The flap is U-shaped. A channel-forming connecting element (34) is arranged between two bearing elements.
