Pump module

A pump module includes a fuel pump (32,156,170,190,202,302), a fuel filter (60,152,162,182,210,320) having a filter casing (62,122,132,154,164,184,212,242,322) and a filter element (78,124,134), a fuel outlet (70,330), and a pressure regulator (80,142,340). The filter casing (62,122,132,154,164,184,212,242,322) covers at least a part of the outer circumference of the fuel pump (32,156,170,190,202,302), and accommodates the filter element (78,124,134). The fuel outlet (70,330) is disposed outside the outer circumference of the filter casing (62,122,132,154,164,184,212,242,322), and includes an outflow passage (406) for flowing the fuel from a discharge opening (404) disposed on the sidewall of the outer circumference of the filter casing (62,122,132,154,164,184,212,242,322). The outflow passage (406) includes a retrieve passage (407) extending from the discharge opening (404) to the outer circumference of the filter casing (62,122,132,154,164,184,212,242,322).
