A motor (1) has a hollow-cylindrical shaped rotary shaft (14) provided with a hollow (17) therein and is mounted on a PCB (35) having an LED (37) as light source. Light emitted from the LED (37) passes through the hollow (17) from one end of the rotary shaft (14) to the other end, and irradiates an indicating needle (7) attached to the other end of the rotary shaft (14).
