Latch assembly for a door or lid of a vehicle transport space

A door or hinged-flap closure device has at least one locking element for the door/flap which is actuated by a pneumatic device and an electronic control device on the goods vehicle operates the actuating device. On the vehicle, a transceiver (20) is arranged for communication with a stationary transceiver (26) via a satellite (22) and is connected to the control device. The locking element is provided with a sensor which is connected to the control device, the latter being designed so that an opening or unlocking signal depending on the magnitude of a given digital unlocking signal is sent to the actuating device.
