DRIVE
January 28, 2004
The vehicle has a pair of IC engines (2,8) that have the crankshafts (3,10) in parallel and these connect to the main transmission gear box through continuously variable transmissions, CVT (7,9). The CVTs connect via clutches (5,11) to the to reducer gears (13) on the output shaft (18). The clutches allow use of one or both engines.
